Changing Perceptions of Reality
Full Moon in Virgo Lunar Eclipse 3/3/26 6:37 am 12 degrees 53 minutes
This Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Virgo is an intense lunation with an extra push to end a cycle. Eclipses intensify the energy of cosmic alignments. This particular lunation is special because last fall we had two New Moons in Virgo, one at the beginning of Virgo, and one at the very end. We also had a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces in between them. We are ending two New Moon cycles with this one! It includes the beginning and the ending of the perspective of separation. We integrate fully into the perspective of wholeness with the experience and knowledge of separation.
Virgo is ruled by Mercury and has the function of sorting the information collected by the Gemini function. This sorting function takes in the information we receive and puts it through the lens we are conditioned to look through. Virgo also has the function of seeing the details, as well as an order-of-operations function.
Humanity has been investigating all of the distinct parts of reality, and we have learned a lot. As a result, it is the window of perception through which we see everything. Another phenomenon that occurs when we see all the separate parts of reality is that we begin to infer a hierarchy. Darwin’s “Survival of the Fittest” emerged from this way of thinking. It has proved to be a dangerous way to think, as it has led to the extinction of many species, destruction of the environment, and unimaginable atrocities to humanity itself.
Given the nature of our extreme circumstances, the ensuing paradigm shift is timely. Our perception of reality is changing. We are beginning to see ourselves as part of a whole. The nodal axis, in Pisces and Virgo, upholds this truth. Since January of 2024, we have been integrating a more holistic view of reality.
Emotionally, this lens of reality has caused significant damage to humanity’s psyche. We are all conditioned into a particular way of being that includes values, thought processes, and beliefs. As a result, we submerge parts of ourselves that are deemed unacceptable. Mercury retrograde, Jupiter, and Venus are all in Scorpio decans, suggesting that we are digging up the parts that have been banished to the subconscious and driving many behaviors unconsciously. With both sides of the brain focused on the depth of the subconscious realms, stuff is coming up. Buried emotions, values, and ways of thinking and communicating are exposed. We become aware of what is hidden, so it can be embraced.
This lunation is an opportunity to allow what is hidden to surface. Sit with it, write about it, accept it, forgive yourself, and move on. The Piscean stellium is the opportunity to dissolve all that doesn’t serve. This is the beginning of a new cycle that allows us to become secure with all parts of ourselves. It allows us to become whole and to heal.
Ultimately, we are birthing a new paradigm and our new roles within it. Pluto and the other outer planets are directing the show. The inner planets are guiding us to change into who we are becoming. As the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars move through Pisces, we dissolve outdated perspectives, values, and actions and take on the energy of wholeness. A new way to perceive reality is coming.
Moon in Virgo
The Moon refers to our self-image. It is our inner world, where we find safety and comfort. It is also our emotional realm, and it holds the feeling of being at home in our skin, safe and secure.
Virgo is an earth sign ruled by an air sign. It takes thought and puts it into matter. Virgo sorts out the details and creates a step-by-step plan for manifestation. Virgo, therefore, focuses on the details. It separates the whole into its parts for scrutiny.
When the Moon is in Virgo, we are learning to find comfort and security with the details of our inner worlds. The very nature of this statement suggests that we may not find comfort in our various parts. The compartmentalizing of our parts leads to a fractured psyche that demonizes parts of itself while objectifying others. These demonized parts of ourselves become trapped in our subconscious mind. There, they direct behavior, project their nature onto others, and wreak havoc in our lives.
Moon conjunct SN
The Moon is conjunct the SN in Virgo, in a new phase conjunction. This signifies that the cycle of the past identity and inner security is ending, and a new cycle is beginning. Learning to become secure with the separated parts of ourselves requires shadow work. The Moon is in the 2nd decan of Virgo, which is Capricorn. We are mastering the creation of an emotional container that can hold the fractured parts of ourselves.
The SN in Virgo refers to a past identity that has seen itself through the internal lens of separation. Through this perspective, we measure ourselves against what we see or experience externally. It is through this past way of seeing ourselves that compartmentalization arises. The constant work to perfect ourselves by external standards leads to the shadow parts that hide in our subconscious. This is the cycle that is closing.
This Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse is a powerful culmination event. The Eclipse intensifies the energy of this Full Moon. Emotions are heightened. In this state, separated parts resurface to be integrated, and a new emotional container develops to house the whole self.
Moon-SN opposed Sun, NN, Mercury, and Lunar Eclipse
The Sun has now joined Mercury, the NN, and Venus in Pisces for this powerful first Lunar Eclipse of 2026. The Sun in Pisces refers to creative self-actualization and purpose focused on dissolving the personality to align with Source. The intention is to dissolve all boundaries that have come before, in preparation for a new cycle. When the Sun is in this undifferentiated state, it is open to all kinds of cosmic forces, ideals, imagination, wisdom, and divine memory. The Sun expresses a magical wisdom during the Pisces season, where anything is possible.
The NN in Pisces refers to our future identity that aligns with the Piscean archetype of oneness and wholeness. We must dissolve our past identity, which has been rooted in the external world of temporary boundaries. When we identify with oneness, we have forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, and universal love for ourselves and others. We identify with others, the Earth, and the inhabitants as if they are part of us.
Mercury retrograde at the third decan of Pisces (Scorpio) engages our thought processes inward, where we can delve deep into our inner worlds and watch for hidden thoughts, memories, and perspectives to surface. It helps us to focus and become aware of what has been driving our unconscious behaviors.
The opposition between these two conjunctions represents an integration. We are to integrate a new cycle of beingness, learning to become secure with all parts of ourselves, becoming a whole being that doesn’t project shadow parts onto others, while dissolving deeply held perspectives that no longer serve us, and self-actualizing an authentic self-expression aligned with the oneness of all things.
Moon sextile Jupiter ®
With the Moon in the second decan of Virgo (Capricorn), we are learning to feel secure with the separated and hidden parts of ourselves and building a container to hold this newly developing emotional field. It requires shadow work to help us become aware of what has been hidden.
Jupiter retrograde shifts beliefs from external to internal truth. It helps us expand our beliefs. Jupiter retrograde in Cancer accelerates the development of our personal truth about who we see ourselves as and the importance of our emotions. It is an opportunity to see if what we have previously believed about ourselves is still true for us. It also expands our inner world and our ability to intuit our emotions. In the second decan of Cancer, Jupiter carries the flavor of Scorpio. As we accelerate the expansion of the truth about who we are, we expose emotional attachments that have kept us stuck.
The waxing sextile is a mutually supportive aspect. It requires withdrawing from the external world to allow the focus to shift to the internal. The accelerated expansion of our inner world allows us to come into contact with hidden emotional attachments and the truth about who we are. It helps us come into contact with the separated parts of ourselves, so they can be embraced, and a new version of the self can develop.
Sun conjunct Mercury ®
The Sun in Pisces refers to our individual creative self-actualization. It is our true purpose, emanating from the heart as an authentic expression. In Pisces, the focus is on dissolving the personality to align with Source. The intention is to dissolve all boundaries that have come before, in preparation for a new cycle. When the Sun is in this undifferentiated state, it is open to all kinds of cosmic forces, ideals, imagination, wisdom, and divine memory.
Mercury retrograde refers to our thought processes and how we take in and interpret our surroundings. In the 3rd decan of Pisces (Scorpio), our focus and communication are looking inward. It is looking deep into the subconscious realm to uncover hidden, outdated thoughts and perspectives to be dissolved. At the same time, our minds will align with the Piscean principles of oneness, compassion, acceptance, forgiveness, and universal love.
The conjunction is a new phase conjunction. Mercury has already been dissolving worn-out thought processes and perspectives. These worn-out thought processes keep us from aligning with Source consciousness. The Sun in Pisces refers to our authentic expression being aligned with Source. There is more that needs to be uncovered from the hidden places in our subconscious. As Mercury crosses the Sun, our perspectives and our communication patterns will be illuminated, allowing us to get a clearer view.
Sun conjunct NN, Mercury ® trine Jupiter ®
The Sun in Pisces refers to our personality and purpose coming to an end. As the old self dissolves, we self-actualize a new, more spiritually attuned self. In the second decan of Pisces (Cancer), we are shining our light into learning to feel at home in our new roles. Our new spiritual nature sits between the NN and Mercury. Both are in a new phase with the Sun, depicting that a new cycle of being is beginning, and the new being is inwardly focused on exposing thought and communication patterns that no longer resonate with the new purpose.
Jupiter retrograde in Cancer accelerates the development of our personal truth about our self-image and our emotions. It is an opportunity to see if what we have previously believed about ourselves is still true for us. It also expands our inner world and our ability to intuit what is true for us. In the second decan of Cancer, Scorpio, we add the energies of exposure, confrontation, transmutation, and empowerment. There is something we need to expose for ourselves, because it hides in our subconscious patterns. Exposing the truth of how we have dealt with our emotions leads to the death of the old self and the rebirth of who we’ve always been.
The waxing trine with the NN and the Sun is an integration and harmonization energy. The Sun and the NN are aligning our inner and outer selves with Source energy to dissolve the old and create a compassionate, forgiving, loving being. Jupiter retrograde in Cancer is expanding our intuition about the truth of who we are. As we expand and uncover deeper truths that are submerged in our subconscious, we can integrate the new beings we are becoming.
It is a disseminating trine with Mercury. In the disseminating phase, we are integrating our personal perspective into the societal structure and attempting to maintain our individuality. Becoming aware of and dissolving hidden perspectives that no longer resonate with who we are becoming is being placed into the societal structure. Expanding the truth about who we are through uncovering and healing hidden emotions.
Mercury Stations retrograde 2/26 at 22 degrees 33minutes
Mercury began its retrograde motion on February 26th at 22 degrees Pisces and will continue until the Spring Equinox, when it resumes its forward motion. The third decan of Pisces is Scorpio. This retrograde has our minds and communication diving deep into the subconscious realm to uncover hidden, outdated thoughts and perspectives to be dissolved. At the same time, our minds will align with the Piscean principles of oneness, compassion, acceptance, forgiveness, and universal love.
Mercury ® conjunct Venus
Mercury retrograde in Pisces refers to the reevaluation of our thought processes. Our minds and communication turn inward to dive deep into the subconscious realm, uncovering hidden, outdated thoughts and perspectives to dissolve. At the same time, our minds will align with the Piscean principles of oneness, compassion, acceptance, forgiveness, and universal love.
Venus is about how we attune to ourselves and to others as a reflection of the way we relate to ourselves. Venus reflects what we need, what we value, and, in particular, our self-esteem. In the third decan of Pisces, which is Scorpio, old values buried in the subconscious are unearthed and dissolved back into Source. The way we have aligned with self-sufficiency in the past is dissolving, as are past esteem issues. In its place, new values are emerging. We are becoming attuned to oneness, compassion, acceptance, flexibility, and the inner meaning. The sharing of resources becomes valuable.
The conjunction is a new phase conjunction. It represents a brand new cycle of aligning perspectives, thought processes, and communication with values,
meaning, and self-esteem. The conjunction aligns the exposing of hidden values that no longer carry meaning. At the same time, the mind reevaluates its thought processes during the retrograde motion.
Mercury ® semisquare Pluto
Mercury retrograde in Pisces refers to the reevaluation of our thought processes and how we communicate what’s on our minds. The inward focus allows a deep dive into the subconscious realm, uncovering hidden, outdated thoughts and perspectives to dissolve. At the same time, our minds refill with the Piscean principles of oneness, compassion, acceptance, forgiveness, and universal love.
Pluto in Aquarius is the bottom line of personal and collective evolution. Pluto is about metamorphosis through diving deep to uncover hidden emotional patterns that we are attached to and prevent growth. In Aquarius, it is about confronting and merging with those deep emotional attachments that keep us from empowering ourselves through our individuality. The intention is to embrace our authentic selves.
The semisquare is a new phase. This is a transitional phase that moves from experimentation to embodiment. It can be a challenge because Mercury’s energy is to continually gather information from the external and reiterate it. This is changing as our minds dig deep into the subconscious and gaze at repressed thoughts that no longer align with our evolution. As we unearth and dissolve these thought patterns, they are replaced and embodied by Piscean themes.
Venus conjunct Neptune-Saturn
Venus is in the third decan of Pisces, which is Scorpio. At this placement, old values buried in the subconscious are unearthed and dissolved back into Source. The way we have aligned with self-sufficiency in the past is dissolving, as are past esteem issues. In its place, new values are emerging. We are becoming attuned to oneness, compassion, acceptance, flexibility, and a higher meaning.
Neptune in Aries refers to transcendence and spiritualization of the self. This alignment is analogous to the end and the beginning, the alpha and the omega. At the beginning of Aries, it represents a brand new cycle of reality. It’s very nebulous at this stage, but as we settle into its energy and let go of the past, our inner guidance will lead us to something new. It just requires trust.
Saturn in Aries is an energy that refers to crystallizing, or making real our instinctual selves. Aries is an initiatory sign. Following Pisces, it suggests that the spiritual energy emanating from Source is beginning a new cycle of exploring new aspects of the self. Saturn, through Aries, will crystallize and make real the spiritualized self. It will happen through us as we explore the new impulses arising and crystallize those that resonate.
As with all conjuncts, all energies are happening at the same time. They are indistinguishable from each other. This conjunction intensifies a new emergent energy. As Venus closes to Neptune, it ends a cycle of values and esteem that no longer serve our evolution. Saturn builds a new emotional container to house new values and meaning, along with the Piscean themes of love, acceptance, and forgiveness. The energy holds Piscean themes, and we will be aligning our newly emerging emotional structure with developing resilience as we experience these new times.
Venus sextile Uranus
Venus, at this location, is focused on dissolving a worn-out value system that no longer supports our future selves.
Uranus in Taurus continues to fracture the lingering residue of the value structure we are leaving behind. It is the higher octave of Mercury, and it is through our perspectives that we understand our reality. Uranus in Taurus transforms the way we perceive our value system and the meaning of life here on Earth. As Uranus retraces its shadow path, we get a second look at what values need to change.
Venus is applying toward an exact last sextile with Uranus. Uranus, being in Venus’ home sign, adds an energy of synergy to this alignment. Not to mention the sextile has a Taurean quality to it. As we fracture outdated values, a new identity emerges. We begin to let go of the old self and embody new values. It’s a fragile alignment because we haven’t yet fully embodied the new values.
Mars’ ingress into Pisces
Mars begins its ingress into Pisces. Mars in Pisces can be confusing because Pisces is formless, and Mars wants to take action. It can be about acting on our dreams and visions. It can also be perceived as a dissolution of past actions as it prepares to reboot in Aries. As Mars journeys through Pisces, it will dissolve the desires of the past and, upon emerging from Pisces, will be fully aligned to act in accordance with oneness, forgiveness, acceptance, compassion, and universal love.
Mars conjunct NN
Mars in Pisces is about taking action upon our dreams. It is also about the culmination and dissolution of past desires or ways of taking action. When Mars is in Pisces, the desire is to act on mystical and spiritual dreams and visions that emerge as past desires dissolve.
The NN in Pisces refers to our future identity that aligns with the Piscean archetype of oneness and wholeness. We must integrate our past identity, which has been rooted in the external world of temporary boundaries and separation. When we identify with oneness and hold within us the understanding of how separateness plays out, we have forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, and universal love for ourselves and others. We identify with others, the Earth, and the inhabitants as if they are part of us.
The conjunction is balsamic. Acting on past dreams and culminating our past behavior is ending. As Mars and the NN make their connection, our desires will align with the mystical and the spiritual in preparation for the future.
Mars-NN opposed SN
Taking action on our dreams, visions, and ideal reality, and dissolving outdated desires and actions, aligns with the future version of ourselves that is aligned with the Source energy. Each of us has a purpose that emanates from within. The old paradigm, which is rapidly dissolving, co-opted our desires to align with an external system. This conjunction culminates the past and aligns us with what is to come.
The SN in Virgo refers to the past identity that perceived itself through the lens of separation. This lens upholds a reality where we see ourselves and others as imperfect. It leads to the creation of a hierarchy that furthers the idea of separation.
The opposition is an integration aspect. In opposition, we seek a middle ground. As the old paradigm dissolves, we have a clear experiential awareness of what the separation can lead to. While a certain amount of separation is beneficial, the incorporation of individual dreams paired with the equality of wholeness and oneness can create something unique.
Mars-NN sesquiquadrate Jupiter ®
Taking action on our dreams, visions, and ideal reality, and dissolving outdated desires and actions, aligns with the future version of ourselves that is aligned with the Source energy. Each of us has a purpose that emanates from within. The old paradigm, which is rapidly dissolving, co-opted our desires to align with an external system. Jupiter retrograde shifts beliefs from external to internal truth. In Cancer, it accelerates the development of our personal truth about who we see ourselves as, and about the importance of our emotions, which are part of our internal navigation system.
The disseminating sesquiquadrate refers to the insertion of our desires into the social realm. We each have a unique vision that we want to integrate. The challenge is not to disrupt the existing system, but to appear like you’re following suit while doing your own thing. Acting on our dreams, visions, and ideals, while dissolving the dreams and visions of the past to honor our intuition and personal truth, can be challenging. Placing them into society while continuing to meet societal needs keeps us under the radar.
Mars square Uranus
Taking action on our dreams, visions, and ideal reality, and dissolving outdated desires and actions, aligns with the future version of ourselves that is aligned with the Source energy. Each of us has a purpose that emanates from within. The old paradigm, which is rapidly dissolving, co-opted our desires to align with an external system. This conjunction culminates the past and aligns us with what is to come.
Uranus in Taurus refers to sudden disruption or trauma response associated with outdated survival patterns. Taurus is about how we survive in these bodies on the Earth. It aligns with what we need to survive. The needs translate into values. Uranus is also associated with long-term memory, including that of our ancestors. The current survival patterns are outdated. We all have endured significant trauma due to the way our cultures survive. In the third decan of Taurus, Capricorn, we are referring to the fracturing of the collective social structure.
The square is a “crisis in Consciousness” square. This is where we diverge from the existing social structure in our beliefs. We must choose to break free from the external beliefs to follow our own truth. We can either continue to follow the beliefs of the external structure, or we can choose to act on our own dreams and visions and allow past dreams to dissolve. In this way, we are breaking free from values that no longer align with our instinctual selves.
Jupiter ® square Chiron
Jupiter retrograde in Cancer accelerates the development of our personal truth about our self-image and our emotions. It is an opportunity to see if what we have previously believed about ourselves is still true for us. It also expands our inner world and our ability to intuit our emotions. In the second decan of Cancer, Jupiter carries the flavor of Scorpio. As we accelerate the expansion of the truth about our emotional worlds, we expose emotional attachments that have kept us stuck.
Chiron in Aries symbolizes healing the collective wound of embracing one’s true self. It is where we are wounded. Healing the wound means moving beyond the fear and showing up as oneself. In Aries, it is a trial-and-error energy. It is a matter of showing up instinctually and doing our best to be authentic.
The square between Jupiter and Chiron is a first-quarter or waxing square. It is about making new choices to change the behavior pattern. We become our true selves by being vulnerable and exposing our inner world, which allows a new truth about who we are to surface.
Saturn-Neptune sextile Pluto
The Saturn-Neptune conjunction intensifies a new emergent energy. Because Saturn is in a closing conjunction, it represents the end of emotionally holding the disillusionment with the dissolving structure. The new energy holds Piscean themes of compassion, forgiveness, acceptance, and universal love. We will be aligning our newly emerging emotional structure with developing resilience as we experience these new times.
Pluto in Aquarius refers to the confrontation, merging with, and transmuting our emotional attachments to being unique. The polarity point is Leo. The intention is to embrace our authentic selves and become empowered.
The sextile is applying. It is mutually supportive energy. It allows us to internalize the new spiritual energy coming in and to crystallize the exploration of who we are becoming. It helps us break free of the past paradigm, move into the heart, and begin exploring our special, individualized purpose.
Saturn, Neptune, Venus sextile Uranus
Saturn is the crystallizing force that makes things real. In the sign Aries, it crystallizes the reality of exploring our true selves. With Neptune in Aries, the Piscean qualities of compassion, forgiveness, acceptance, and universal love for ourselves and fellow earth inhabitants align with the energy to activate our true selves and to discover who we are.
Uranus direct in Taurus symbolizes an opportunity to transform our values and the meaning life holds for us as a community. The time spent in Gemini allowed our perspective of reality to transform. The retrograde into Taurus reflected a refinement of our values and meaning in life.
The waxing sextile between them is a supportive aspect. It allows us to internalize letting go of the old reality and to begin crystallizing who we are becoming. As we let go of the past, we transform our connection to old values.
Uranus trine Pluto
Pluto in Aquarius refers to the confrontation and transmutation of our individuality. We must confront our fears about being different and embrace our uniqueness during this transit. It is a slow process. The transit will be in effect until 2030.
Uranus in Taurus symbolizes a transformation of our value system. Uranus in Taurus transforms the way we perceive our value system and the meaning of life here on Earth. As Uranus resumes its forward motion, we get a second look at which values need to change and at the reformation of meaning in life.
The trine is a waxing. It is where we begin to integrate and harmonize the energies of the original conjunction. The original conjunction between Pluto and Uranus happened in the mid-sixties in the sign of Virgo. The culture began a new cycle of fracturing our attachments to the way it discerned reality concerning the hierarchy that had ruled the presiding perceptions. The trine has us refining our values and integrating our individuality. The radical shift in values allows us to value ourselves differently and to take a step toward our individuality.
SN sesquiquadrate Chiron
Chiron in Aries symbolizes healing the collective wound of embracing one’s true self. It is where we are wounded. People have sacrificed their true selves for generations to fit into existing groups, societies, or structures. It happens out of fear of rejection or persecution. Healing the wound means moving beyond the fear and showing up as oneself. In Aries, it is a trial-and-error energy. It is a matter of showing up instinctually and doing our best to be authentic.
The SN in Virgo refers to our past sense of self and emotional state. Virgo is the way we discern the information that we receive through Mercury. It is also associated with the distinct, separate parts of our reality. When we perceive ourselves as separate, it feels like imperfection. The idea of separateness also denotes a hierarchy. When at the bottom of the hierarchy, we must defer to those at the top, or the external.
The waning sesquiquadrate between Chiron and the SN represents a joining into the societal structure. Stepping into the social structure as our true selves is not the norm; the challenge is to appear as we were, while bringing new energy to change the status quo. The true self is responsible for our emotions.
NN semisquare Chiron
The NN represents our future selves. In Pisces, it refers to the dissolution of our past identity and to our subsequent alignment with new Piscean principles. These principles base the identity on wholeness and unity rather than separation and imperfection. The emotions associated with unity are compassion, forgiveness, acceptance, and universal love.
Chiron in Aries symbolizes healing the collective wound of embracing one’s true self. Healing the wound means moving beyond the fear and showing up as oneself. In Aries, it is a trial-and-error energy. It is a matter of showing up instinctually and doing our best to be authentic and explore who we truly are.
The new phase semisquare is the point at which the energy is shifting from outgoing to experience new things, to incoming to embodying what we have experienced. As the NN moves through Pisces, we gain opportunities to dissolve the old identity that perceives itself as separate. At the same time, we are infused with compassion, acceptance, forgiveness, and universal love. It suggests that as we heal the wound that has prevented us from showing up as our true selves, we are being led back to our true state.
