Sun Moon conjunction in Taurus
We are experiencing a new cycle in the Taurus Archetype. When the Sun and the Moon are simultaneously expressing in the sign of Taurus, both aspects of the self (the self-image and the external expression) take an in-breath, internalize, and make our recent experiences our own. Last month, at the New Moon and solar eclipse, we began a new cycle in the sign of Aries. We were experiencing new energies to explore new dimensions of ourselves. We followed new curiosities and new possibilities. That outward focus has exhausted itself. We must bring the energy inward to secure those newfound experiences that will help us survive, meet our needs, and increase our self-worth.
In the sign of Taurus, we are looking at our survival. This includes what we need regarding resources and promoting longevity within our bodies. Self-care is an essential theme in the sign of Taurus. How we care for ourselves is linked to how we value ourselves.
Venus rules Taurus. It is an important planet in this New Moon cycle, as it also rules the SN in Libra. We have historically identified ourselves by identifying ourselves with others. We guide our actions through social constructs. How often have we neglected to show an aspect of ourselves for fear of how another would receive us?
Venus conjunct New Moon
Venus is in a closing phase to the New Moon, signifying that this new cycle coincides with the end of how we have related to ourselves in the past. The new way is about acting spontaneously and being driven from within instead of by how we might seem to others.
Sun-Moon conjunct Uranus and Jupiter
The New Moon cycle is conjunct the new phase between Uranus and Jupiter. Uranus conjunct Jupiter in Taurus focuses on breaking free from societal patterns that no longer serve our evolution concerning how we relate to ourselves, meet our needs, and value ourselves. At the same time, we experience an expansion of our personal beliefs about how we live, what we need, and how we value ourselves. Values and beliefs are closely related. To change the way we relate to ourselves and how we value ourselves, we must expand our beliefs about our inherent value.
The Moon is in a closing phase of expanding our beliefs about ourselves. This new cycle requires us to dissolve our previous self-image and begin anew.
According to the Sun, the dynamic is in a new phase. We are beginning a new cycle of self-validation that incorporates breaking free from the old way we have valued ourselves and exploring new ways to expand upon the past.
Venus Square Pluto
This is a first quarter square, a crisis in action. This type of square reflects a conflict in the way of being. Pluto in Aquarius is now retrograde, where we are accelerating our evolution to break free from societal norms by re-experiencing our attachments to the past to remind us how we desire change. The conflicting energy is learning to incorporate a new way of relating to ourselves and finding value.
Mercury Chiron conjunct
There is a new phase conjunction beginning between Mercury and Chiron. Mercury in Aries lends intense energy to gather a new perspective in our immediate environment. Chiron in Aries reflects that to heal old wounds, we must be willing to step in a new direction. Mercury adds curiosity and energy to shift our way of thinking.
Mercury is now moving direct, and the information it received from the NN during its retrograde phase is fueling the salience of other information in our field of vision. The new phase conjunction increases our awareness and lets us perceive what is in front of us differently.
NN conjunct Mercury Chiron
The NN exemplifies the future identity of each of us and the future identity of the collective. In the sign of Aries, it points to a new evolutionary cycle of self-exploration. It makes me think of the phrase, "All that glitters is gold."
We will be attracted to something new in our environment. It draws our curiosity. We should follow it even though others may not accept it. Each of us has our own path. If we are concerned with the perception of others, we may fear taking these evolutionary steps.
Mars Conjunct NN
Mars has recently moved into Aries, leaving the slower planets behind in Pisces. Being the last of the inner planets to enter Aries, Mars reflects that the preliminary preparation for the new cycle is in place, and we are ready to finally begin this new cycle.
The conjunction with the NN reflects that we are completing the old action cycle regarding Pluto's intentions. At the exact conjunction, we will be at the starting gate, ready to move toward our future selves.
Neptune Mars conjunction new phase
Still feeling the transcendence of the past cycle, Mars is gearing up for new adventures. There may still be a bit of uncertainty, but the energy is there to complete the dissolving of the old and to begin something new.
Finger of God Formation (SN, Saturn, Sun/Moon conjunction)
The south node is the vertex of this formation. It represents the past way of identifying ourselves through others. It is the focal point, creating so much crisis and disturbance in our lives.
Two inconjuncts are creating these disruptions. One requires an inner adjustment, the other an outer adjustment.
The Saturn in Pisces inconjunct refers to learning to find a sense of emotional maturity or resilience while dissolving the past reality and finding higher meaning. It requires an internal adjustment. It is a "not freaking out" and remaining secure inside yourself while these outer changes are happening associated with the SN in Libra.
The New Moon in Taurus is an external adjustment. By anchoring ourselves into our bodies, we adjust how we deal with the world outside ourselves. An example could be not engaging in someone's drama and retreating into the security of one's inner environment.
Saturn sextile New Moon
The sextile between Saturn and the New Moon is a supportive alignment that helps us resolve the Yod aspect. Finding inner emotional strength and higher meaning supports this New Moon's theme of self-love, self-care, and anchoring ourselves inside the body.
By anchoring into the body and finding emotional security and higher meaning within, we can resolve the past way we have related to other people and the outer world in general.
The Boomerang Point: Mars, NN, Chiron, and Mercury
The boomerang point is the release mechanism. Showing up to begin the new direction, healing the past wounds associated with showing up as yourself, pure and unadulterated, emotionally aligning ourselves with the new way of being, and shifting the mindset to appreciate what is salient and new in our awareness will help us to release the crisis with our past way of relating to others.
Neptune Mars conjunct sextile Jupiter and Pluto
The new phase conjunction between Mars and Neptune highlights the coming out of the fog and chaos to begin a new way of being in the world.
Both Jupiter and Pluto support this reality. Pluto is the backdrop. The retrograde direction is accelerating the individuation process. It is the underlying push for each of us and the collective to evolve. Pluto is asking us to break free from the conditioning to find our inner child, our true selves. It is an arduous journey. There are many layers of conditioning to peel back.
Because the direction is new, and the road behind us is dissolving, we may need clarification. The underlying current drives us forward in our quest to individuate.
New truths found within our bodies will also support the direction forward.
What does it all Mean?
It means that the Universe is preparing us to begin our solo journeys. Much of the current energy intends us to break free from our past way of relating to others and the world outside ourselves. We must anchor into our bodies. It is where we will find our own personal truths and how to value ourselves and our needs. This New Moon is resetting our relationship with ourselves.
It is a long road that we have been walking, and our relationships along the way have been like training wheels to keep us moving forward. The training wheels are being removed, and we must anchor into ourselves, use our internal navigation tools, and begin to embark on the journey to find out who we are and what we are created to do.
I’m filled with excitement after reading your report - so much opportunity for renewal awaits us at this incredible New Moon in Taurus! I have Jupiter and Uranus transit conjunct my Venus, Venus transit conjunct my NN, Mercury/Chiron transit conjunct my Sun, Mars transit conjunct my Saturn, and Pluto transit square my Nodes! This New Moon indeed feels like it’s been a very ‘long road’, where the ‘training wheels are now removed’, but finally I feel a kind of buzzing anticipation and motivation for this required renewal process. Much thanks for your most resonating interpretations 🙏
