The Backdrop
Pluto Aquarius
Aquarius is the process of decentralizing from the limitations that have confined us. These limitations are felt emotionally, mentally, and spiritually and can bleed into physical manifestations. Aquarius is also associated with the individuation process, electricity, and progress.
Uranus rules the sign Aquarius, which represents the higher mind. Thought processes that are associated with the Source of all things. As the higher mind, it is related to long-term memory, including memory handed down through past lives and DNA, so ancestral memory.
As such, Aquarius and Uranus can point to trauma, a shocking event that catapults us into a different reality. It is a rapidly occurring situation that does not allow us to process mentally. It triggers the fight-or-flight mechanisms. If the trauma never gets processed emotionally, it lingers as unprocessed trauma. Then, it repeatedly flares up as triggers and plays out in our relationships.
Pluto in Aquarius can be about confronting, merging with, and transmuting the unprocessed trauma we have experienced on a personal and collective level. It will be a twenty-year process and will heal lifetimes of individual and collective trauma. It can also be a confrontation and acceleration beyond the limitations we are experiencing. Progress and innovation are the results of this energy.
The polarity point of Pluto is Leo. Leo represents our true purpose, joy, love, and the heart. As we break free from the confines of our dissolving societal structure, the Universe asks us to come from our hearts. Here, the intention is to find our true purpose.
We are at the beginning.

By allowing ourselves to feel our emotions, learning to nurture ourselves in this way is taking responsibility to reparent ourselves in a nurturing way.

Venus squaring the Nodes
When we have a planet squaring the nodal axis, it focuses on the integration of the planet squaring the nodes. In this case, learning to nurture our emotions healthily requires integration between the energies of relying on others to do this for us and stepping into a new cycle of doing this for ourselves.
Ruler of the SN square the Nodes
This configuration points to an integration of something that needs resolving. Venus. We must begin to care for and nurture our emotional maturity. In the past, we have placed this responsibility outside ourselves, limiting our emotional growth. Ultimately, it is our responsibility to see that we meet our emotional needs and learn a healthy way of expression. The suppression of emotions leads to eruptions in the future due to the lack of processing them.

Uranus is in a 1st quarter square, a crisis in action. It is where we make different choices to achieve different results. There is tension felt. The tension is due to the growth that occurs from breaking free from something stagnant yet feeding us.
The square between the Moon and Uranus is a last-quarter square. It is a crisis in consciousness square and refers to where our personal beliefs and truths begin to diverge from the norm. There is also tension here when we start to act upon our beliefs. We may fear being rejected by our friends and family. Working on this shift is a step closer to individuation.
SN in Libra trine Mercury Aquarius

It will help make changes in our relationships.
SN Libra opposition Chiron
The way we collectively have related to others in the past, where we have suppressed our own needs or sense of self to maintain a relationship or to be polite, is integrating the wound that we all carry that keeps us fearful from acting on our individual desires and needs. We want both ends of this spectrum but must incorporate them to achieve balance.
SN inconjunct Uranus (full gibbous)
The collective self-suppression that we have been conditioned by is in a blind spot configuration to breaking free from worn-out survival methods, self-worth, and personal values. This blind spot is creating situations of crisis in our relationships. It requires an adjustment through confrontation in our outer world. We are standing up for ourselves.

Part of this journey requires us to move beyond past trauma and to heal our emotional bodies so that we can be whole functioning beings to usher in this new energy.
What is being outlined is a breaking free from the old self. Our societal norms condition us to be polite, put our needs second, and suppress unpleasant emotions. The result is a suppression of the true self that has unprocessed trauma surrounding it.
This New Moon is resetting a cycle. It is an opportunity to break free from the conditioning, to take charge of emotional trauma. It requires self-nurture of our emotions, a change in thought patterns and beliefs, and to head toward what makes you happy.
Stepping out as this new version of self may feel uncomfortable at first. The more opportunities we take to do it, the easier it will become. If you are still determining the direction to take, let Joy and authenticity be your barometer.
