The Solar Eclipse

The Solar Eclipse is a powerful energy boost where we receive a Universal push to begin a new cycle of self-awareness. All new moons begin a new cycle of self-awareness and the outer expression of that awareness. A Solar Eclipse happens when the lunar nodes accompany a Full Moon or a New Moon. In this case, the NN in Aries accompanies this New Moon Cycle. When the NN is the node of alignment with the New Moon, it highlights and ignites the impetus toward our destiny.

This new Moon is a highly personal energy source for each of us. It requires us to be free and open to acting upon whatever new adventure excites us. It is also healing energy, as the Sun, Moon, and Chiron are precisely at 19 degrees and 24 minutes Aries.

Chiron points to a personal and collective wound. In this case, the wound is that we (humanity) have focused outside of ourselves for millennia. Chiron in Aries says the wound is one of rejection if we step into our own. Our ancestors lived by this. In tribal societies, there was safety in numbers. Stepping out on one's own meant rejection from the tribe - and sure death. 

Humanity has evolved far enough to be able to be led from within. We each have a special purpose, desires, talents, and a path to follow. Yet, this is the direction of our evolution.

Sun Moon Chiron SN Mercury conjunction

This large stellium is in Aries. A new cycle has begun. Mercury was the first planet to enter Aries and began its retrograde motion on the first of April. Mercury is the planet of the mind and communication. It is how we make sense of our reality and communicate it to others. It is the part of our mind that gathers information and makes inferences about the experienced reality. When in retrograde, there is the need to accelerate beyond the current perception. A recounting of what is known is what we experience. It is an opportunity to experience through a different perspective.

Mercury has been collecting information differently since it moved into Aries. The retrograde is an opportunity to re-experience a thought process from a different perspective to advance the perception process. The Moon is in a balsamic conjunction with Mercury. We are becoming secure with the new thought processes. Mercury is in a new phase to Chiron and the Sun. There is a new perspective to be gathered and communicated during this Eclipse.

The NN is in a new phase to the whole stellium, depicting that this eclipse experience is a new direction for the sense of self. It is experiencing a new individualized way of perceiving reality, ultimately healing the sense of self even though it brushes against a deep wound.

Three Important Conjunctions

Alongside this great conjunction are three dyads: Mars and Saturn in Pisces, Venus, and Neptune straddling the Pisces Aries cusp, and Jupiter and Uranus in a closing-phase conjunction in Taurus.

Mars and Saturn are still in Pisces, reflecting that part of our consciousness continues to close out the old paradigm. Mars is in a closing phase to Saturn, suggesting that we are ending our process of acting in the old construction, which continues to dissolve. 

We may experience anger associated with the old structure. We are also acting to align with the Source energy, and there is intensity as the two worlds collide. The closing phase of this conjunction with Neptune shows us that the energy of the two worlds colliding will end as each planet crosses Neptune and begins a new cycle more aligned with the Source energy.

The inconjunct between the Mars/Saturn conjunction and the SN highlights that this closure creates a crisis due to a blindspot. The past way of being attuned to the outer world cannot yet see the closure, nor does it recognize the spiritual world, as the focus is outside the self. 

Venus Aries conjunct Neptune in Pisces

The conjunction between Neptune and Venus is a new phase conjunction. Venus recently crossed Neptune and communicated with the Source. It begins a new phase of aligning our bodies, values, and affinity with ourselves and a new way of relating to the outer world.

Jupiter and Uranus conjunct in Taurus

The third conjunction that is essential in this shift of awareness is the closing phase between Jupiter and Uranus. Jupiter in Taurus is about the expansion of the ability to survive and the expansion of the perception of the body. Uranus refers to the higher mind. It is linked to long-term memory, electricity, and breaking free of limitations. It is also linked to traumatic events that cause a sudden change in perception. In the sign of Taurus, we refer to the body, our values, and our needs. The energy is present for a sudden perception change from outside to inside the body.

This is a powerful alignment in this chart and the focal point. All Yod configurations have two inconjuncts connected by a sextile. The vertex is the stress point, the area that needs two adjustments. One is internal, the Saturn-Mars conjunction, and one adjustment is external, Jupiter. These inconjuncts are blind spots that alert us to their presence by creating a crisis. The crisis is experienced in our relationships or with any aspect of the world outside ourselves. 

The inconjunct between the Mars/Saturn conjunction and the SN highlights the closure of our actions in the world. It creates a crisis due to a blind spot. The past way of being attuned to the outer world cannot yet see the closure, nor does it recognize the spiritual world because its focus is outside the self. 

The inconjunct between the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction and the SN highlights the crisis that arises due to the shocking culmination of the expansion of our body awareness and our awareness of the world outside the self.

The sextile is supportive energy between the two sixty-degree-apart energies. It represents the energy of internalization and self-sufficiency. In this case, the sextile is between the Mars-Saturn conjunction and Jupiter in Taurus. The closure of the old way of acting in the world and the shocking consciousness shift into our bodies support each other. As awareness increases about the true nature of the amazing instruments that our bodies are, the old way of acting in the world ends.

The exact conjunction of Chiron, Moon, and Sun is the boomerang point. It is the direction of focus to aid us in the shift of consciousness referred to by the sextile. Healing the wound of stepping into the self, beginning a new cycle of self-awareness, specifically new awareness of our body instruments, helps us end the old way of acting in the world.

Pluto Aquarius

Pluto in Aquarius is the backdrop, the underlying reason for all the other planetary interactions. The early degrees of Aquarius point to the beginning of our individuation process. Humanity is not intended to be controlled from outside itself. It has been part of our incubation process. Still, our evolution is to be self-guided beings, each with unique characteristics, talents, and life paths.

What does it all mean?

It means we have arrived at the awakening. Since Pluto moved into Aquarius in January, we are beginning to step into our true selves. We are looking at what makes us happy, what helps us experience joy, and an alignment with our inner child. We have also been looking at our relationships, particularly how we relate to ourselves and others in a balanced way. In addition, we have been moving into our bodies. We've been questioning our needs and learning how to assert them in our relationships. 

This Eclipse is the portal to the new world. It is an intense energy that pushes us into the unknown. The old world is collapsing, and we are beginning to align with our inner selves. It is new territory for most of us. As the old landscape dissolves and the outer world becomes murky, the only compass available is our inner guidance. It's scary because humanity has been guided from outside ourselves for eons. We cannot evolve further in this way. We have hit the wall. Now, the pendulum of evolution swings inward. 

Aries is the direction toward ourselves. Aries and Taurus are the signs that refer to ourselves and our bodies. The body is a great instrument. Its genetics are incredibly detailed and perfect.  

The direction of evolution is the shift in awareness from outside to inside the self. It is a perspective change that will abruptly change our reality. It is in alignment with the intention of the undercurrent. We must all break free from the constraints of our limitations, which are fueled by our constant focus on the world outside ourselves.

The pendulum swinging inward gives us the chance to know ourselves, our likes and dislikes, the subtle nuances of our individuality, our innate gifts, and, most importantly, how our bodies function as the divine instruments that they are. Tuning into our body instruments is an internal guidance system that makes the external guidance system obsolete.
