The Road to Becoming Our True Selves
Full Moon in Aquarius 27 degrees 15 minutes 8/19/24 2:26 pm
Moon Aquarius opposed Sun Leo conjunct Mercury
The Moon in Aquarius refers to our inner worlds and internal sense of security aligning with the individuation process. Aquarius is the sign of the individual and the group. When our inner worlds align with a group, it is intended to strengthen the group, and each person in the group lends unique gifts to the group, thereby making the group more functional.
All oppositions are the integration of a completed journey. To determine what this opposition refers to, we must look at the original conjunction in February of this year. The new phase conjunction in Aquarius began a cycle of breaking free from our limitations and individuating into our true selves. Since February, we have been working to achieve this goal.
In this case, the Full Moon asks us to integrate our expertise, life purpose, and joy into the individuation process. Breaking free from our conditioning is the same thing as individuation. We are integrating the individuation process as we shed the layers of our conditioning and focus our light on what makes us shine.
At the Full Moon, we begin integrating ourselves into the social realm. We must learn to shine our true light into the world.
Moon trine Jupiter Mars conjunction
The Jupiter-Mars conjunction is a new phase conjunction. We are beginning a new cycle of acting on new perceptions we became aware of at the exact conjunction a week ago.
Jupiter in Gemini refers to the expansion of our perceptions. We are over halfway through this process. We may experience it as downloads, new understandings, or expanded curiosity concerning our beliefs.
The trine to the Moon is a disseminating trine. It is where we are integrating our individuated selves into the social realm. We can experience fear, but doing so can inspire others to do the same.
Moon Square Uranus
Our internal worlds become secure with our uniqueness as we integrate our true purpose and joy into who we are. We may be aligning with a new group of people who accept us for who we are. These people have a similar value structure.
Another manifestation of this energy could be an alienation of our unique selves due to our different values. It requires us to find a group to align with that accepts our unique qualities, gifts, and values. In either case, a fracturing of old patterns concerning what we value is occurring.
It is the last quarter square between the Moon and Uranus. A last-quarter square is a "crisis in beliefs" square. It occurs when society's beliefs no longer align with our personal belief structure, and we break free and begin to live by following our own beliefs.
Moon Sextile Chiron (r)
This Full Moon in Aquarius has us identifying with our individuation and the acceleration of healing the wound that has prevented us from beginning the new cycle of self-discovery.
These energies are supportive in that they both help each other accomplish their goals. Identifying as individuals and accelerating beyond the wound toward understanding who we are is in alignment.
Sun conjunct Mercury ®
In the final degrees of Leo, the Sun reflects each of us, shining our light on what gives us joy, purpose, and a connection with our inner child. The Sun has been in Leo for nearly a month and is about to complete the cycle.
Mercury began its retrograde motion just after the New Moon in Leo. It has returned to Leo to retrieve information about our internal thought processes concerning our purpose and creative expression.
The conjunction is a closing-phase conjunction. The Sun and Mercury made an exact conjunction on the 18th, beginning a new cycle of aligning our thoughts with our purpose, expression, and joy. Mercury continues its retrograde motion to complete the process by accelerating the alignment of our thoughts with our hearts. This inward communication allows us to collect more information about what makes our hearts sing.
Sun inconjunct Pluto ®
Expressing our joy and purpose and becoming comfortable with our unique selves can cause a crisis when we break free from past conditioning.
The inconjunct is where we place our purpose in the social realm. We can shine and express joy and take criticism from outside ourselves. However, fitting it into the world will require adjustment. We may experience a back-and-forth motion between our will and the will of society, causing a crisis. Eventually, we will come to a balance.
Sun Mercury inconjunct Neptune ®
During this Full Moon cycle, Mercury influences the Sun with its redo of aligning our thoughts and communication with our purpose and activities that give us joy. We may experience aligning with something we do not enjoy during this time. It is a reminder to our psyches that help us realign our thoughts to our joy and purpose. The Sun will move into Virgo for a month in a few days. It will be the refining period where we will self-adjust our outward expression to reflect aligning our purpose and happiness with our thought processes.
Sun Mercury trine Chiron ®
Expressing our true selves and realigning our thought processes to that expression is related to healing the wound that prevents us from being our instinctual selves.
The alignment with Mercury is a first-quarter trine. It is when the redo of our mindset has reached the point where the choices made at the square are ready to be used in everyday life. The original conjunction that began the cycle was to heal the wound by aligning our thoughts and communication with our instinctual selves.
The trine with the Sun is a disseminating trine. This trine is where we integrate our purpose into the social realm. The original conjunction took place in April. The intention was to begin a new cycle of expression by healing the wound that prevents us from being our instinctual selves.
Sun Mercury square Uranus
Expressing our true selves and realigning our thought processes to that expression is square to Uranus. Uranus is helping us break free from old values that no longer serve us.
The Sun is in a last-quarter square to Uranus. It is a "crisis in consciousness" square where our truth and society's truth or beliefs diverge. We must make different choices to follow our own truth.
The square with Mercury is a first-quarter square. It is where we have already internalized new thought processes that align with a new value system. The square is about taking different actions to align our thoughts with our true purpose.
Venus square Jupiter Mars conjunction
We became aware of the new cycle of acting on new perceptions during the expansion of our perception at the exact conjunction between Mars and Jupiter. As we engage our right brain to expand on the possibilities and align our actions with the new perceptions, we carry the energy to put these perceptions into existence.
Venus in Virgo is about self-adjusting how we relate to ourselves and others. It is also about personal values. Venus has been through the sign of Leo, which recently aligned with what gives us joy and purpose. The adjustments we make concern the addition of our happiness and purpose.
The first-quarter square to Venus is a "crisis in action" square, in which we must make different choices to incorporate our personal values and value ourselves differently.
Venus trine Uranus
We must adjust ourselves to accommodate our need to incorporate our authentic selves and what makes us happy into our lives. This energy is in a first-quarter trine to Uranus, who asks us to break free from the values that no longer serve us. This trine allows us to put into daily practice what we have been working to achieve during the original conjunction between Venus and Uranus in Taurus.
The original intent was to begin a new cycle of aligning personal values outside the consensus values. Determining personal values helps break free from the old values aligned with the consensus.
Venus opposed Saturn ®
Incorporating our true purpose and situations that bring us more joy requires adjustment and integration of our authority.
As Saturn retrogrades in Pisces, we can look back at the emotional growth that has occurred since the original conjunction in March. In the sign of Pisces, the original conjunction began the cycle of dissolving our value structure to allow our values to align with an internal emotional structure. We have been learning to set boundaries and take responsibility for our emotional weather.
We have completed the goal at the opposition and must now integrate our new internally sourced values into our relationships. With Venus in Virgo, we are self-adjusting to fit our purpose and joy into our relationships.
Mars and Jupiter square Venus
Mars has recently made an exact conjunction with Jupiter in Gemini. Jupiter in Gemini refers to expanding our consciousness, including diverse viewpoints. We will notice the influx of perspectives, some of which we agree with, and others do not. Expanding awareness also increases the amount of hidden information brought to the surface for all to see.
When we add explosive Mars to the mix, anger and other violent actions can erupt. This promotes the recipe for reactive actions concerning viewpoints we cannot align with.
The conjunction can also push us to act on new perspectives that enter our awareness. As this is the beginning of a new cycle, its completion will occur in 2 years in the sign of Leo. It will give each of us, on the individual level, the ability to evolve our actions to align with new perspectives that present themselves to us.
Mars and Jupiter square Saturn ®
Mars and Jupiter in Gemini are beginning a new cycle of expanding awareness and the impulse to act on that awareness. Saturn is in an exact square with Jupiter. In this first-quarter square, we experience a "crisis in action." We have internalized the original impulse to break free from outer authority, build inner authority and emotional structure, and align with our own truth and perspective.
We are learning how to act on this new impulse at the square. To do this, we must make different choices that align with our individuality and personal authority. Mars is acting on new information that it has received from the help of the expansion that Jupiter provides. There is a trial-and-error energy with Mars. It allows us to act on more than one thought process and gives us choices to act upon.
Mars square Neptune ®
Neptune in Pisces has been a long journey. It has been slowly eroding the fabric of our reality. We have lost meaning in the dissolving structures. While in the void, we find meaning from within. The retrograde motion accelerates the process.
The square to Mars is just beginning, as it has yet to become exact. In the void of Neptune, we are starting to act upon new perspectives and internal meaning. We are exploring new perspectives to help fill the void. In the first-quarter square, we are still determining what action to take, but we must make different choices in our actions to make a change.
Mars sextile Chiron ®
Sextiles are supportive energy. They help both planets achieve the energy they are working on. Mars in Gemini conjunct Jupiter expands our perceptions and gives us the agency to act upon these new perceptions. Chiron ® is the bridge between Saturn and Uranus. It carries the wound of Saturn and the antidote of Uranus. Chiron ® in Aries refers to the acceleration of healing the collective wound that suppresses instinctual behavior or prevents us from acting upon the impulses that arise from within.
Healing the wound supports the ability to act on new information, and acting on new information supports healing the wound.
Uranus sextile Neptune ®
Uranus in Taurus is about breaking old patterns in our survival. It's about our needs, which translate into what we value, including how we value ourselves. Neptune ® in Pisces accelerates the dissolving process, where all limitations are dissolved, leaving a structureless space devoid of meaning. It is in this place that a spark of divine meaning rises.
These two energies support each other. Breaking free of old values and how we have valued ourselves in the past is supported by dissolving the external structures that have kept us bound. Additionally, the dissolving structures and lack of meaning assist in breaking free from those values that have kept us bound.
Uranus trine Pluto ®
Uranus in Taurus is about breaking free from how we have survived in the past. It includes our needs and what we value, especially how we value ourselves. Uranus has a shocking quality. It is a rapid change in perception often associated with a traumatic event. The event elicits a fracturing of consciousness that changes the perceptions.
Pluto is retrograde in the sign of Aquarius, which Uranus rules. Pluto, the undercurrent of our soul journey, affects humanity's collective and individual evolution. The retrograde refers to an acceleration of this quality. It is a going back over what we have already experienced to have the opportunity to refine the growth.
The trine is a first-quarter trine. This trine is where we put the original intent, described during the conjunction of the two planets. The conjunction between Pluto and Uranus happened in 1966 in the sign of Virgo. The intention was to confront and transmute feelings of lack or superiority, guilt, and how we deal with health and service.
At the first quarter trine, we are breaking free from the restrictions and conditioning of the past to accelerate our growth. What we are breaking free from are the values we have held, and we are now putting this awareness into everyday practice.
Uranus sextile Neptune ®
Breaking free from the values of the past and the accelerated dissolving of reality, that we have all been living through support each other. As the reality we have been living in loses meaning, we begin the process of breaking free from our attachment to it.
Uranus trine SN
Breaking free from our old values and meaning of life and our past way of relating to ourselves and others is in a disseminating trine. It is where we place this breaking free into the social realm. This act can create internal fear, but it can also be an example for others to follow.
Neptune ® conjunct NN
Neptune retrograde in the sign of Pisces is accelerating the dissolution of our reality. The reality that we have collectively created has run its course. We have lost meaning in the old reality.
The NN in Aries points to the direction of our future identity. Our future identities and that of the collective have a common destiny to begin a new direction forward of aligning with the instinctual self. The idea is to explore who you are and to experiment with taking action to try new things that draw you.
Both energies are present simultaneously with the conjunction and may be difficult to see due to Neptune's dissolving nature.
Neptune ® opposed SN
The accelerated dissolution of our reality opposes our past sense of self. We are nearing the completion (at the exact opposition in February of 2025) of the goal to dissolve the old sense of self and begin evolving toward the new self depicted by the NN.
Pluto ® trine SN
Pluto, the undercurrent of our evolution, is accelerating the breaking free from past conditioning, heading toward the last degree of Capricorn. It will transmute the societal norm irrevocably, and when this happens at the beginning of September, confrontation about our structure will be intense.
The trine to the SN is a first-quarter trine where the original conjunction took place in Capricorn in 2019. That intention was to confront the societal structure to transmute how we identify ourselves. At the first-quarter trine, we are accelerating the breaking free from identifying ourselves with others. We have been doing the work, making changes to ourselves, and now putting this new sense of self into everyday life.
Pluto ® square Chiron ®
This square is a first-quarter square. The original conjunction took place in Sagittarius in 1999. The evolutionary intention was to break free from belief patterns associated with a collective wound of what is true and what is not.
Now, at the first-quarter square, we have learned a lot and are learning to make different choices that help us heal the wound of acting instinctually with what resonates from within. As both planets are currently retrograde, this square has an energy of acceleration and individuation associated with it.
Yod Pluto ®, Neptune ®, Sun
The yod formation or the "Finger of God" consists of two inconjuncts that converge on a planet, the vertex. These inconjuncts are blind spots that cause crises in our lives. The reason for the crisis is unconscious. Being unaware of the reason, we project it onto others in the form of blame. When we understand that the issue is within us, we can make necessary adjustments.
There is a sextile that opposes the vertex that helps us to do the inner work.
In this case, the Sun is the vertex. It is the stress point between the two inconjuncts. The inconjunct between the Sun and Pluto reflects the need for self-adjustment with respect to our individuation and expressing our true selves. The inconjunct between Neptune (r) and the Sun reflects the power struggle between expressing our true selves and the dissolving reality. In both cases the Pluto and Neptune are accelerating the expression of our true selves.
What Does it All Mean?
It means that all the outer planets point to a shift. Neptune is accelerating the dissolving the previous reality, Pluto is accelerating the individuation from the structure of the outer world, and Uranus is breaking us free from finding value in the past ways of surviving. Together, they point to the ending of the previous reality.
This Full Moon in Aquarius helps us align with our true selves by shining the light on our innate purpose and what gives us joy. To do this, we must adjust our values, shift our perspectives, and participate in the expanding consciousness.
We are learning to align with values and beliefs that suit our purpose and ignite excitement, purpose, and joy in our lives.
It feels like we are jumping into the abyss. The future is unknown. We are not finding meaning in the old way but must figure out how to do something different. The analogy is that we are all on a sinking ship. Do we go down with the ship, or do we take a chance and jump overboard in the hopes that we will rescue ourselves? It takes trust and following what is instinctually arising within us. It is the life jacket given. We do have a choice here. What will you choose?
So very good - thanks! I have absolutely lost meaning in the old reality, and seemingly adrift at sea! Uranus is now conjunct my Venus, and aspecting most other planets in my chart! Indeed new choices need to be made now with the new awareness…💫
