Sun Conjunct Moon Scorpio
The Sun-Moon conjunctions are always about beginning a new cycle. It is a new cycle concerning how the inner sense of self expresses itself to the outer world, where others can see it. Inherent in the newness is a revised understanding of purpose and destiny. In the sign of Scorpio, we refer to confronting and merging with experiences that uncover deep emotions we attach to unconsciously. It means we may not be aware of them, but they elicit emotional responses that affect how we merge with others. With Scorpio, these deep attachments are associated with a loss through death, abandonment, or betrayal. Through exposing these deep emotional patterns, we can work on them and begin empowering ourselves.
Mars Scorpio New phase conjunction to Sun/Moon
Mars is in a new phase conjunction with the New Moon. Mars is powering the way forward to uncover deep emotional attachments associated with loss. Mars is how we act on Pluto's desires. When we blend these two energies, we experience a new cycle of self-inquiry with the desire to unearth deep-seated emotions that may have been preventing us from being ourselves fully.
Mercury Sagittarius new phase energy To Mars Scorpio
Mercury is the planet of linear thought. It outlines the gathering of information that we perceive in our world and orders it into a coherent piece that allows us to navigate our world. In the sign of Sagittarius, we are experiencing expansion in our beliefs and truths that help us to make sense of thoughts that are not salient to us. With Mars in Scorpio, we have a presence to take action to uncover deep emotional attachments to what hides in our subconscious minds. Feelings, likely fear, lurk below the surface, and the conjunction to Mercury in Sagittarius is expanding our minds to encompass greater understanding.
Uranus ® Taurus in opposition to the Lunation
Uranus ® Taurus speaks to acceleration through shocking occurrences due to old, worn-out patterns that affect our survival ability. In opposition to the New Moon, our new sense of self, which seeks to expose deep emotional attachments, brings us into the process of integrating the acceleration beyond these hidden, worn-out patterns that limit our ability to survive well.
Uranus ® Taurus in opposition to Mars in Scorpio
Uranus ® Taurus speaks to breaking free from old, worn-out patterns that affect our survival ability. In opposition to Mars in Scorpio, which speaks to showing up in a new way to expose deep emotional attachments, it brings us into the process of integrating the acceleration beyond worn-out patterns limiting our ability to survive. It suggests that these deep emotional attachments have created ways in us that are no longer useful, and the energy to break free from them is available.
New Moon in Scorpio square Saturn in Pisces
Our newly emerging sense of self seeks to uncover deep-seated emotional attachments. These attachments have hindered our ability to become empowered beings. A protective mechanism to loss can be to prevent pain by not allowing closeness to occur. In this way, we hide parts of ourselves unconsciously. Saturn in Pisces refers to crystallizations in our reality that no longer serve us. Generally, these crystallizations are emotional. These rigid frames we have held are dissolving back to the oneness of all things. Our inner world, the Moon, with its newly emerging sense of self, seeks to expose these unconscious emotional attachments. It is in the last quarter square to Saturn. Here, we experience conflict as the deep emotions reveal how these emotional attachments have been self-limiting concerning our inner security.
Venus into Libra
Venus moved into Libra on the 8th of November. Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra. It is the planet of relating. In Taurus, it's how we relate to ourselves and self-preserve. In Libra, it is about how we relate to the world outside ourselves. It can be about connecting to friends, pets, siblings, etc. It is about ensuring we meet our needs with others to balance the extremes of possibilities. Libra, the sign of relating, is full of extremes, and Libra seeks to find a middle ground within the extremes.
Venus Libra inconjunct Jupiter ® Taurus
Relating to ourselves and others in the extremes can present in many ways. Sometimes, it is heavy on the Taurus side, where we meet our needs at the expense of others. The opposite can also be true when we sacrifice our own needs to place more weight on the needs of others. The inconjunct refers to a blind spot between self and others that can often produce a crisis when our needs are missing. With Jupiter ® Taurus, the energy signifies an expansion of our truth concerning how we self-preserve. As we expand our beliefs about meeting personal survival needs, Venus moves into Libra, where we must consider the other. How do our expanding views about our needs affect the other? We cannot know without communication. Without it, we can expect a crisis.
Venus Libra sextile Mercury Sagittarius
Venus in Libra, the need to find the balance between ourselves and the people we relate to, supports Mercury in Sagittarius. Mercury in Sagittarius refers to gathering information about our truth and our beliefs and communicating it. It helps with the energy of finding balance.
Venus in Libra semi-square to the Sun/Moon in Scorpio
The Semi square is a closing phase in this case. This aspect can also bring up crises as the soul accelerates a change between the past and the future. We may feel the need to withdraw, to experiment with new ways of being, or to do both. It can produce inner conflict. So, as we begin a new chapter in digging beneath the surface to uncover our unconscious attachments about merging with others, we are closing the gap in finding balance in our relationships. If we have been sacrificing our needs to maintain a relationship, and it is an unconscious attachment that we become aware of, inner conflict can arise as we struggle to find a new balance.
The Backdrop:
The undercurrent remains unchanged as it moves slowly. Still, as the other planets move and make different aspects to the undercurrent, we respond through change and growth.
Pluto Capricorn square the nodes Aries/Libra
Pluto in Capricorn squaring the nodes is a skipped step in our evolution. Pluto in Capricorn is about transmuting the locus of control in our lives from outside of us to internal control. In doing so, we are developing emotional resilience and maturity. The nodes of the Moon, our past and future sense of self, are evolving from being aligned outside ourselves to inside ourselves. The skipped step is Capricorn, where our environment has conditioned us to place ourselves after others. We can evolve toward our true, spontaneous selves when we resolve the step. The SN in Libra is the resolution. We must learn to find a balance between our inner world and our relationships.
Pluto Capricorn trine Venus Libra disseminating trine
With Venus in Libra, authority and, by default, our emotional maturity can flourish. This placement speaks to how we align our inner world with other people to find a balance in the extremes of possibilities. This flow allows us to find balance in our relationships by recognizing our internal locus of control. The disseminating trine speaks to the individuation process. As we begin to individuate, we serve as an example to others who may wish to do the same.
Pluto Capricorn trine Uranus ® Taurus waxing trine
The waxing trine allows for the integration of the original intention. The original intent was Pluto in Capricorn in an exact conjunction with Uranus in Capricorn. Here, the intention is to break free from the societal structure to begin the individuation process of becoming our own authority. Uranus ® in Taurus allows us to accelerate beyond the previous ways of meeting our survival needs. As we individuate our needs, we individuate how we relate to others.
Pluto Capricorn sextile Neptune ® Pisces
Becoming our own authority supports the energy of Neptune in Pisces. The intention here is to reclaim our sense of control over ourselves as the outer authority dissolves back into oneness.
Neptune ® Pisces
Neptune and Pisces refer to the energy source. In this place, everything manifests from and returns to it when its time is over. Neptune has no recognizable boundaries in this realm. It represents the completion of a cycle. As the boundaries of what was begin to dissolve, its form becomes unrecognizable. We begin to lose meaning in what was. When Neptune is retrograde, we must look to Pluto to determine what Neptune is about. Pluto in Capricorn points to a transmutation of our authorship, which points to the growth of our emotional maturity. Therefore, Neptune ® in Pisces refers to our own meaning derived from within as the meaning in the outer authority dissolves.
Neptune ® Pisces Inconjunct SN Libra
The inner meaning and healing of our inner sense of authority is currently blind to us. This blindness causes crises within our relationships as the past sense of self struggles to emerge as its evolved sense of self in relationships. We need to adjust the way we relate to others. It relates to the meaning vs. no meaning prevalent when Neptune is in Pisces. Things become unclear and nebulous while we take hold of our inner authority. As our inner authority grows, definition begins to form from within. It references a clue to the adjustments that are needed.
Neptune ® Pisces trine Lunation in Scorpio, Mars Scorpio, Mercury in Sagittarius
This New Moon is a time of finding inner meaning and healing through our inner sense of authority. As our new sense of self begins to expose the unconscious emotional attachments that limit us, we start to act on what we have found, new meaning begins to emerge, and our thought patterns expand to encompass personal truths and what is natural to us.
Saturn in Pisces
The function of Saturn in Pisces is to dissolve old structures that have controlled us from the outside. They no longer serve us in our evolution. We experience this energy as a loss of meaning with the old, worn-out systems in our lives, a job, school, a relationship, etc. With the shift to inner control, we develop a new sense of emotional maturity and resilience. It is creating space for the new beginnings that are upon us. Saturn will be in Pisces until May of 2025, giving us plenty of time to develop a new sense of maturity within ourselves.
Saturn Pisces Square Uranus ® Taurus, the New Moon, Mars Scorpio, and Mercury Sagittarius
Saturn is forming a T-square between Uranus ® Taurus and this New Moon. A T-square represents two challenges where growth needs to occur to aid in integrating the opposition that connects them. The square between the New Moon in Scorpio and Saturn is a closing phase. We call this square a crisis in consciousness, where we know the difference between the norm and our beliefs. We begin to break free to allow our inner selves to guide us.
The square between the New Moon and Saturn references our insecurity as we expose our attachments to outer authority's dissolving nature. It allows us to build a new sense of self linked to personal truth.
The square between Saturn in Pisces and Uranus ® in Taurus is also a closing phase that induces conflict as we individuate and assert our sense of authority. Uranus ® Taurus refers to breaking old patterns in how we meet our survival needs.
The growth between these two squares helps us integrate the New Moon and Uranus ® in Taurus. Breaking limitations in the way we have previously met our needs can be integrated as we dive deep into the emotional attachments that have been disempowering to us. Growing toward personal authority will help to reconcile this opposition.
The squares to Mars and Mercury give us the power to expose our emotional limitations to begin working toward being our true selves. It requires gathering new information and expanding our truth to advance toward personal authority and emotional maturity.
Chiron ® conjunct NN
Chiron is an intermediary between Saturn and Uranus. Uranus, being an outer planet, describes the collective experience of our times. Saturn is a social planet. It encompasses the social structure that we are all a part of. It brings healing to our Saturnian wound through the individuation process that is Uranus.
The NN is our future sense of self. When conjunct Chiron ® in Aries, it outlines the direction of growth we need. Chiron retrograde accelerates the healing process regarding our inner security, helping us become our new selves.
Chiron ® Aries opposition SN
In opposition to the SN, Chiron speaks to healing our social expectations concerning how we relate to the world outside ourselves- conformity, if you will- limiting the evolution of our true selves. Chiron is asking us to show up for ourselves in a new way, even though it is uncomfortable.
Finger of God (SN, Uranus, Neptune Chiron as the boomerang point)
The finger of God configuration is a crisis requiring internal and external adjustments. It can produce frustration because the cause of the troubles is generally unseen. Once revealed, we can make adjustments. The stress point is the vertex of the Yod (Finger of God). In this case, the above inconjuncts that require adjustment are stressing the SN in Libra. It is where we have had repeated experiences within our past way of relating to folks that we need to adjust. This Finger of God, or Yod configuration, points us to a fork where we must make different choices inside and outside ourselves. The inner adjustments are related to the dissolving of societal authority. In contrast, the outer adjustments refer to a change in our behavior associated with breaking free from the patterns related to how we meet our survival needs. With Chiron as the boomerang point, it suggests that the release of the stress point, SN Libra, is through accelerating our individuation process toward showing up as our individuated selves.
What does it all mean?
It means that humanity's direction of evolution is to become our unique, individual selves. Our current societies have served a purpose. They have been the container that has allowed us to live and evolve. For the past 2,000 years, we have been under the influence of Pisces, where we have been encouraged to come together as one people. Our distinct cultures have promoted this. Each rising and falling culture brings us closer to the intended outcome.
We are currently at the end of the Piscean age and the precipice of the Aquarian age. Aquarius is about individuality and vibrating at a frequency unique to each of us. Some frequencies are harmonious, and some are not. We can vibrate as our true selves when we retrieve our natural frequency. To achieve this, we must break the patterns of conditioning that have been limiting to us and have prevented individuality. This is the energy of Aquarius, Uranus, and the 11th house of the astrology chart.
Pluto in Capricorn is the energy of destroying the container housing us. We are currently at the end degrees of this alignment. The planets reflect what energies are interacting to move us along this continuum. The container, our societies, aims to unite each of us within the structure of that container. In this society, our conditioning includes placing the authority for our reality outside of ourselves and within the existing container. There isn't much room for variance. As a result, many of us show the effects of not living authentically and uniquely as we could be. Mental illness, crime, suicide, etc., are the outward manifestations of this.
As Pluto enters Aquarius in 2025, the energy will shift. Life will quicken, and we will begin the process of recovering our true selves. The planetary placements that are occurring now are preparation for these times.
What is in question is how we relate to ourselves, where we have hidden parts of ourselves to fit in. It requires deep inquiry into ourselves to uncover those hidden parts we have forgotten. As we recover our true selves and begin to vibrate in our frequencies, we will experience a shift in our relationships. Some will end, and new ones will form. These new ones will align to our true selves. Groups of individuals will form based on similar and complementary frequencies. It will be a different world. The control will be from inside the individual instead of outside.
For now, we all have much self-work to do to uncover the shame and guilt we have buried to survive. It's time to let your freak flag fly and let the chips fall where they will. Peace.
